Once upon a time the definition of Search Engine Optimization did not take that much time to explain. Most people understood that it was something to do with getting somebody’s website on the highest possible position in Search Engines and this is obviously still true today.
But Search Engine Optimization is now more, and about more, than at any given time since Search Engine Optimization as such became a strategy/task.
Unsurprisingly, the general public still believes that SEO is done with a box of tricks leaning towards shadiness, but really do not know the intricacies of the process involved. That is why people who want to SEO their own websites need to take our SEO course.
Over the last ten years, SEO has moved, pushed along by the changes Search Engines made, away from the initial and sole purpose of creating backlinks, on-page SEO and everything else which individuals, webmasters and SEO companies did to get websites ranked.
Today, the spectrum of SEO has widened. Google in particular, and the emergence and rapid growth of the power of social media, are the reasons that SEO is no longer the narrow blinkered approach to rankings that it once was. You can learn more of the reasons why this is so in our SEO course.
SEO now has to incorporate a philosophy rather than just express the mechanical functionality involved in ranking websites. This is an important point that I emphasize in my SEO course.
Website owners everywhere are beginning to realize that without making changes – specifically to their site content- even high Google rankings will not necessarily increase the success of their website.
If this is true – and I know it is – then something else too must have changed-
The answer is: The Audience and the The Consumers
By that I mean, their perceptions, their demands, and their level of expectation has risen, and quite rightly so. Thinking first of your website visitor is what I teach in my SEO course.
Today, successful marketing, of which SEO is an important part, is more than just about ranking positions (important as they might be, of course.) Forgetting top rankings for the moment, a successful website today has to provide an almost spiritual home in a particular niche, conveying the feeling and sending the signals to the market segment the site wishes to attract that they have come to the right site. They must feel that their needs will be taken care of and that the site has the ability to respond to their problems and provide a solution. Our SEO course will teach this approach.
Search Engine Optimization is part of that process. Creating content presented as a marketing concept is what makes websites successful and what can differentiate them from their competitors.
Content is not only King, which is a slogan that has been used over and over again and which was understood by many as adding some “relevant content” to their sites, based on the products and services the website was selling and promoting.
That sort of content is no longer sufficient because it is not enough to forge an alliance between the website and its visitors. Most websites, it has to be said, fail on that front, which is why I focus on that subject specifically in my SEO course. I explain in great detail what needs to be done today in the new realm of SEO.
Content found on sites is often mere product explanations and descriptions. This is not what it takes today for sites to achieve the ultimate goal – converting site visitors to loyal customers who will return again and again to purchase products and services, and this is what you will learn in my SEO course.
The old ways of marketing, still followed by so many, is a thing of the past and has been for quite some time.
Today’s principles of enticing visitors to websites and then converting them to paying customers is no longer based on traditional advertising and marketing values.
The content of a site is now the focal point of any sales strategy, and it is there that the selling cycle, initiated by content not by immediate attempts to sell, begins. I address this particular aspect in my SEO course.
If content marketing is applied correctly and fully understood, then selling will turn into buying.
In other words, you don’t have to sell to your clients. Your clients will buy from you. That’s the difference, and that’s what my SEO course will teach and help you to implement.
